Describe LED Strip Lights

Describe LED Strip Lights:

LED Strip lights, sometimes called LED tape are a versatile lighting solution that allows users to create professional lighting results with minimal effort.
These flexible, self-adhesive strips of LEDs (light-emitting diodes) have a voltage of 12 volts. Since they use LEDs, they also consume much less electricity than old fluorescent bulbs, and last many times longer, making them much more economical.

LED Strip light types:

LED lights come in two main types; one color and a change of color. Single Color bands are available in warm and cold white tones and are ideal for creating fine or hidden lighting. Most customers attach them to the bottom of kitchen cupboards and picnic boards, where they create aesthetically pleasing and practical light, but they can also be used to accentuate, highlight or create an extra atmosphere in the home.

Color-changing lamps use a special type of LED that mixes red, green and blue (RGB) light sources to create a wide range of colors. They can be used in many of the same applications as a single color, but allow the user to switch between static and dynamic color options with a number of different control units.
The power/brightness of the band varies depending on the number and size of the LEDs used. The LEDs used in strip lights are actually a compact version called SMD (Surface Mounting Devices), which come in two main sizes; small and large. The number of LEDs per meter will vary, and as a rule, the greater the number of LEDs, the more powerful the strip.
Because these strips work, they need a unit called an LED driver that "lowers" the network voltage. They can usually be purchased as part of a band of light kit or sold separately. All drivers have a maximum load, which should be large enough to control the power consumption of lamps.
Although the light bulbs can be bought, you can reduce their length if necessary. This can be done by cutting through one of the marked "cutting points."
Finally, the spray-protected or waterproof coating also makes LED strips suitable for lighting kitchens, bathrooms, and even outdoor areas. Before you choose a waterproof option, you should familiarize yourself with the concept of IP or the rating of protection against penetration.
